The Rules
I’m going to die early.
There are those things said about
young deaths; Oh don’t dwell
on those obscure legends (Don’t even mark the
fortitude I speak of them with)
Instead explicate what Nietzche meant
when he said”The gods sometimes
like to laugh too.”
What I think of it…well, I don’t think
he’s wrong.
I would like to add a bit to his assertion–
Bitter and fearful of
lightening striking twice,
or a my malehood caught in a zipper….
I purport that well “Like children, the gods
roll across their plates the food
they don’t want until it grows
cold.”
(I wasted a lovers food, as many
of his days he wasted his and my
life- Life lessons have been wasted
amongst those of us sitting here;
We all are guilty of wasting time.)
This document is a reminder/left
behind for when I can’t smile–
When I sit in the mouth of a|
God who doesn’t know whether if
he wants to spit or swallow.
